EUROCLOTH TEXTILES ; established in Singapore since 1991 as a wholesale and retail textile merchant fabric supplier , imported only best quality cotton , linen , silk and wool from Top European Mills .

Through distribution of textile sample books worldwide , we serviced and supported made to measure bespoke tailors , fashion designers and garment makers  in major cities worldwide ; selling bulk or small cut lengths by the meters .

  Our first store was setup on 2nd Floor at The Adelphi retail mall in Coleman Street. A small 450 sq ft rented corner shop with only few fabrics on display .

  Initial purchases started with about 30 rolls of 100's by 100's 2 plys yarn count 100% cotton Fabrics from Silverline collection of Thomas Mason, one of the oldest mill in England. Those were the days where slow speed shutter looms output the best luxurious fabrics with impressive durable finishing in very limited quantities in 90 cm short width.

  Our reputation for carrying only genuine and best European fabrics soon spread tremendously across countries from local to oversea tailor markets .

  In less than 2 years , we ran out of space . Fabric rolls are stacked to ceiling high and there is simply no space to move around .

  We sourced and engaged a space in a brand new shopping mall , The Concourse in Beach Road . Business was good ; achieving more than 20% growth yearly. Within 14 years , we had renovated 3 times and expanded from 900 sq ft to 1500 sq ft.  

  Having gained the recognition of representing only the best European mills ; Eurocloth was fortunate to meet and teamed up with a UK partner . And a long term collaboration relationship started and we worked closely to build , branding and marketing of the world's now renowned HUBERROSS , synonymous with European Quality Fabrics . 

  With increased demand , we progressed and started to add fabrics from top mills to HUBERROSS collections .  Alumo , Stotz AG ,  Nelo , Eugster and Huber ( Switzerland ) , Bower Roebuck , Hield Brothers ( UK ) , Cotonificio Albini  , Linea Mitiaro , Leggiuno , Tessitura Monti , Canclini SPA ( Italy ) ; Spence Bryson ( Ireland ) all formed the many textile lines in English baby corduroys , Irish linen and linen blends  , Brushed and Gaberdine cotton or Stretched , Cotton stretched with Lycra , Twill silk , Italian cotton prints , Trocus Shell Buttons , Undercollar Felts   etc and the range is still growing .

  Being given exclusivity as sole distributor of HUBERROSS ; we were assured of reliable , continuous and quality supplies . We were exposed on how every season's selections were conceptualised and promoted with many new marketing concepts.

  From time to time , we prided ourselves to be involved , consulted and providing valid recommendations to our UK counterparts and gradually shaped and established the market presence in Asia.

  By late 90s , we had brought in many new lines and with more textile fabrics  ; the present mall space were simply too small and rental expensive with limited sizes available for expansion.

  In year 2000 ; we bought 2 units of warehouses in the newly built Ubi Techpark at Ubi Crescent near Paya Lebar , Singapore .

  Spanned over 5000 sq ft of space ; we are now able to work with ease ; cut and pack efficiently with multiple racks filled with rolls and rolls , million of meters of fabrics in all sorts of designs and colors . It is overwhelming and hard to believe so many selections are possible to be stocked in one sole location.

  We established our inventory software system and each piece is properly bar-coded to track fabrics availability and location for ease of retrieving , cut and recorded .

  It is amazing in less than 2 years , we managed to design a completely customized inventory system integrating our store operations with our customer service accounting software , improving efficiency by triple folds .

  We did not stop then but continue to refine the database that had kept us ahead , update & tracking inventories, JIT timely repeat best selling items and monitoring current trending with ease .
